I worked in Air Freight and found the Manual Data Entry to be quite tedious. Friends and colleagues mentioned autmating checking ETA's and better tracking. I was quite discouraged by the bulky onboarding (wierd CW1 quizzes on day one of job) and hope to build an easier to use platform. Let me know what you would like to see in the product!

I can't imagine what these companies were using before CargoWise. Or even how easy the process could be--and how hard the complexity of the software really makes it.
Taking the weird rote memory quizzes for certification was disconcerting. I was more than a bit puzzled that everybody at work encouraged me to cheat on these tests so we could save money per some sketchy CW1 discount if users complete it (I assume some ploy to save money on seemingly non-existent customer service)
I suspect people have held off from building a full solution to update and replace CW1--maybe they have, please share here if so--though I am motivated to keep working with my team to build it back in its simplest form.
The core functions follows:
  1. Quote customers on freight
  2. Engage carriers with shipments
  3. Send the freight out to truck
  4. Track it to and from Airport or Seaport
  5. Billing, much easier billing. Automated as we bill normally.
Please let me know what I am missing here and what could be made better. I stay up at night thinking about the knock-on effects such inefficiencies push into the economy in the form of lost operator time and quality of work (and life), delays, lost freight, angry customers, and, ultimately, inflation.

Looking for an affordable (*) cargo bike with forward leaning posture

Just test road the Urban Arrow and the Load 75 and the difference in comfort for me was enormous. I experienced back and hip pain almost as soon as I was underway with the UA, but rode the Load 75 a couple of miles and was comfortable the entire time. I also had more fun riding the Load 75.

Unfortunately, I just can't justify to myself dropping 11k on a bike. I'm living in an area where I can ride on roads with little concern for my or my passengers' safety regarding vehicle traffic, but some back-of-the-napkin math says it'll take ~4.5 years for the gas savings to cover the cost of the bike. I'd say 2 years is probably close to guaranteed here, but 4.5 might even be unlikely given my career pattern so far. So I think my budget is probably ~5-6k.

I've test ridden the HSD and GSD and preferred the GSD as I needed the extra help from the more powerful motor on the abundant hills here. The GSD was not as forward-leaning as I would have liked, but it may not have been adjusted optimally.

Not sure there's much to be done about it, but weather is also a concern as it rains quite a bit here.
