The future of online classes

Hey guys,
I just thought I'd drop a line about about my current project: https://online-classes.co.uk/the-50-50-promise/
Before you think I'm using Reddit to share my project without any thought — please hear me out.
I've been working in the affiliate industry for a few years now and it amazes me at how much money is made. Millions upon millions of pounds/dollars/euros/whatever in profit are generated monthly just by creating simple websites.
This is mainly through the gambling industry, but there are other examples (booking.com, trivago.com etc.) outside of betting.
My background is in betting, but recently I've been working on a side-project which aims to both help better educate ourselves, but also generate money for charity. This is my first project, and I wanted to get some feedback:
  1. Does the idea of purchasing something through a website, but also generating money for charity interest you?
  2. How would you like the charities to be chosen?
  3. Would you be willing to help promote the website through linking to pages on your blogs?
Yes, the third way is a way for me to generate back-links (I'm also quite a transparent person), but it's also a simple way you can support the growth of this project.
The idea will be to continue building a portfolio of non-gambling, non-financial (credit cards, forex, binary options etc.) affiliate websites which, one day, will help change the world.
The profits these websites can generate is incredible — I'm sure we can do something amazing.
And to answer the question 'why only 50% in net profits?', well as libertarians you can appreciate that profit is a natural part of our society; this way we can deliver for future shareholders, while also delivering for society. I think it's the best blend we can ask for in the 21st century.
I might be the owner of these websites, but my interests are in bettering society, not lining my own pockets. I can't prove that now, but one day I hope to prove any doubters wrong.
To show I'm not just a random guy, here's my LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/althughes/
If you have feedback you'd rather leave via email, contact me on [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
Thanks all,
Ashley

kshay Kumar, 25, knew his journey would be tough. But he thought he was prepared.
Kshay Kumar, 25
In 2012, after an engineering degree and a oneyear stint with a multinational, Kumar felt he needed a makeover. "I didn't want to be stuck with civil engineering all my life. I also wanted to see the world and explore new options," he recalls. Doing an MBA from a premier institute was on his mind.
He did think of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and the Xavier School of Management, but the desire for global exposure pushed him to explore options overseas. Kumar settled for a oneyear post-graduate course at the Imperial University in the UK, which he financed via an education loan. "Visa rules and the bleak job market there did weigh on my mind. But I had a feeling I could manage it," he says. He had confidence in Imperial's good global ranking, its alumni network and his own hard work.
Kumar began his hunt for a job virtually from the day he landed in the UK. He studied hard to get good grades but worked even harder to find a good job. By tapping into networks of his alumni, friends and family, Kumar reckons he would have reached out to over 200 firms during that year. "It didn't work. My good grades made me eligible for plenty of jobs, but my non-European Indian passport was the problem," he shrugs.
Kumar moved back to India late last year and has just landed a job with a private equity firm. "All my plans have been delayed by five years," he says. Close to half his salary today goes in paying monthly instalments on his education loan.

The World isn't Flat
The West has a problem. Its economy is in a funk, not enough jobs are being created, cautious companies aren't hiring too many, and worried governments — from the US to the UK — are raising visa barriers for foreigners to work in their countries.
Young Indians, who went overseas for education, are facing a tough time finding a job. Many like Kumar have returned home. And some are now casting the net wider — looking for jobs from the US to Hong Kong and Singapore — or settling for sub-optimal options. Rupa Chanda, professor, IIM-Bangalore, who has worked on reports on international student mobility, says visa and immigration is the biggest factor affecting Indian students' decisions.
The US, the UK and Australia — the three most popular destinations for Indians seeking global education — have seen the number of Indian students come down over the past few years (see Out of Favour?). Remember, many Indian students take hefty education loans to finance their studies abroad. While many would find decent jobs back in India that would not help much as these students need dollar salaries to comfortably service their loan. This is taking its toll. "Overseas education is costly. Many Indian students are doing a cost-benefit analysis to figure how to recoup their investments overseas and putting off their plans ," explains New York-based Rahul Choudaha, chief knowledge officer, World Education Services (WES), a non-profit organization that provides credential evaluations for international students planning to study or work in the US and Canada.
But to be fully able to understand how this trend will play out, one must understand the backdrop. A big generational shift is taking place among the students looking for overseas education. Many of them now are India's liberalization children, who have grown up post-1991 and lived in an increasingly global world with fewer barriers.
So in many ways this is their first brush with a world with barriers. Many are also children of globetrotting well-paid senior corporate executives who think differently about education, exposure and investing in a world-class education. "These parents understand the long-term rewards of a world-class education. I see many of my friends taking their children to these top campuses after they pass out from school to give them a first-hand feel," says Hema Ravichandar, strategic HR expert and a former HR head of Infosys.

Woes on Foreign Shores
Both of Ravichandar's children have studied overseas. Her daughter, Aditi, is doing her MBA from Wharton in the US and her son Nikhil, 22, completed his Bachelor's in economics from Warwick in the UK. Nikhil chose the UK over India because of the flexibility available in picking courses — he wanted to do economics with law which was impossible in India with its rigid course structures. "Education in India is not very research-driven and multicultural," he adds.
But during his stay there, the UK revoked the two-year work permit for foreign graduates. Thus he needed a firm job offer to stay on after graduation. This was difficult since he was particular about the kind of work. "I wanted a job in economic consulting," he says. Unable to get that he preferred to do a postgraduate programme instead. While he did not take any loan, for many of his classmates, who had taken a hefty education loan, things were difficult.
Now, Nikhil is back in India getting some interesting exposure at a few start-ups in Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley. He is contemplating a startup of his own. "This is the best time to take the risk and explore it," he says.
Across the Atlantic, Sujoyini Mandal, in her 20s, offers another peek into the odds that Indian students face overseas. After her graduation from Jadavpur University, Mandal went to Singapore for her postgrad and worked with a think-tank there. Life was good but since she had always yearned for a degree from a world-class university, she applied for a Master's at Harvard's Kennedy School.
For two years, she deferred her admission as she did not get any financial aid. She saved some money and, with a bit of aid, finally took the plunge in 2011. Foreign students in her college face an education loan cap of $30,000 ($15,000 a year), she says, making things even more difficult Mandal started looking for a job when she graduated in May 2013. But mandates that fitted her needs and aspirations were not easy to come by. She did land a contract with the World Bank but that was short term, uncertain and had no medical cover. Last month Mandal finally landed a job with an investment bank.
Despite such struggles, there are many reasons why the pursuit of overseas education among young Indians is unlikely to die down any time soon.

The Demographic Bulge
Every year, around 800,000 Indian students reportedly go overseas for their education. This costs the country close to $15 billion of forex annually, estimates industry lobby Assocham. If students are going overseas for education, it's because India has a problem of both capacity and quality. The country has one of the world's largest education infrastructures: 600 universities and 34,000 colleges with 17 million students enrolled and 5 million students graduating every year. But India is also witnessing a demographic bulge — it has perhaps the world's largest young population. Experts estimate that some 100-million-odd students will seek higher education over the next decade.
The capacity problem is compounded by the quality issue. About 70% of the capacity in India is of poor standards. At the other end of the spectrum, competitive intensity at the premier colleges is so stiff that it is often easier for bright students to get admission in Ivy League colleges in the US and the UK than in the IITs, IIMs and even top colleges in Delhi University.
All this coincides with the rise of India's aspirational upper middle class. Over the past two decades, many first-generation Indians have risen up the corporate hierarchy and are financially well-off. These welltravelled, financially stable corporate executives desire the best for their children. "They are looking for the best educational experience. They know it is a life-long asset. Indian premier colleges do not have the capacity and are very rigid," says TV Mohandas Pai, chairman, Manipal Global Education. Pai's son studied at Stanford University in the US and now works for a start-up in Silicon Valley.
This aligns well with the global trend of rising international mobility of students. According to Institute of International Education (IIE), since 2000, the number of students leaving home in pursuit of higher education has increased by 65%, totalling about 4.3 million students globally. What is more interesting is that the share of students from the developing countries in this pie is rising — it moved up from 54.8% to 69% between 1999 and 2009.

India vs China
Not surprisingly, the world's two most populous and powerful emerging countries — China and India — send the largest number of students overseas. But China has rapidly shifted gears to overtake India.
Consider what's taking place in the US. In 2000-01, India topped the list of international students by country, with 66,836 against China's 63,211. But by 2009-10 China had overtaken India. In 2012-13, China sent 236,000 students; India was nudging the 97,000 mark. While the number of Chinese students has been growing in double digits of late, that of Indian students has been sliding. To understand why that is happening, it is important to analyze the profile of students going overseas from both the countries.
Chinese students going to the US are evenly split between undergraduate (40%) and postgraduate programmes (44%). But Indian students are heavily skewed towards postgraduate programmes (55%) with just 13% at the undergraduate level. Indian students are also unique as over 60% are in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) category. Bear in mind that historically, postgraduate and STEM programmes offer more financial support than undergraduate and non-STEM programmes.
"The decline in Indian students is directly related to the 'Strivers' , who have been putting their plans on hold due to increasing cost of studying abroad which in turn was triggered by economic uncertainty and currency devaluation," says Choudaha.
“印度留学生的下降与”奋勉族“群体相关(根据全球教育服务处的研究,指的是资源少的发奋者),这个群体由于海外留学费用的增加导致他们搁置了自己的留学计划,而经济不稳定以及货币贬值引发了海外留学成本的提高,”Choudaha说。
A majority of Indian students arrives at the Master's level and funds education by taking loans as financial aid from colleges has dried up. So, while the majority of Indian students go for education loans, Chinese students are supported by their families. According to a research by WES, 47% of Indian respondents report loans as one of the primary sources of funding as compared with only 3% of Chinese.
Chinese students, in contrast, are "explorers" (experience seekers), says Choudaha. Often the only-child of financially well-off parents, they have the financial wherewithal to study abroad and are under less pressure to find a job there. But change may be afoot. Some Indian students could make the transition from 'strivers' to 'explorers' and Choudaha expects more and more Indian students — most of them children of well-off senior executives — to go overseas at the undergraduate level. Not so dependent on financial aid, he also sees many more Indians exploring new interdisciplinary fields, beyond STEM. Even in the STEM category, experts feel that Indian students will be the biggest beneficiary as the Obama government eases rules for this critical segment in future.

Lessons from China
Two decades back, China faced problems similar to those India faces today — its higher education had both capacity and quality issues. Since then China has worked hard to upgrade its educational institutions. It has two programmes — Project 211 and Project 985. The former aims to make 100 Chinese universities world class in the 21st century; this will help China churn out world-class trained professionals to push economic growth. These universities are expected to set national standards for education quality that can be replicated by others.
Project 985 started more than a decade back and is an attempt to build China's own Ivy League colleges in the 21st century. In the first phase the project included nine universities. The second phase, launched in 2004, includes 40-odd universities. The projects have been backed by significant investments. According to a New York Times report, China is investing $250 billion a year in human capital.
The dragon country's efforts are now bearing fruit. Many Chinese universities are climbing up the global ranks. Two Chinese universities have made it to the top global 50 in the Times Higher Education report. India has none. In the top 500, 16 Chinese universities make the cut against seven from India. Mobile international students are taking note. A decade back, China was hardly on anybody's radar.
Today, it is the third largest education hub in the world after the US and the UK with 3.28 lakh international students, according to IIE. By 2020, it hopes to host 500,000 international students. Even Singapore is targeting 1.5 lakh foreign students by 2015. In contrast, India was home to just 27,000 international students in 2012. China is aware that to push innovation and realize its economic ambitions, it must be able to attract top talent — in its colleges and workforce.
Also, in virtually every key statistic, the world today is seeing a shift from the West to the East. From economic GDP to consumption power, MNCs across the board are looking at Asia and the world's two most populous nations. This shift is happening demographically too. But in the education space, the West still dominates.
Of the world's top 100 universities, 46 are in the US. Seven of top 10 universities are in the US. Asia has just 11 in the top 100. "It is difficult to replicate what US has done with its universities to 2emerge as an innovation hub," says Pai. So, ambitious and aspirational Indians will continue to look overseas for education. But if India has to realize its potential, it must invest heavily in building world-class institutions in the country — the China way.

Tempcool Mukhopadhyay (India) 1 Day ago An excellent article. Appropriate and very well timed. Issue lies with inadequate job creation in India compared to passing out rate and all sorts of reservation quota for the "privileged" groups. Also unscrupulous marketing by planting misleading information by the education institutes of developed countries and their Indian agents.
Guramandeep Singh (Mexico) 1 Day ago 67 years after Independence, we are still stuck to providing reservation quotas in institutes of higher education. The recent Supreme Court order puts 27% reservation for OBCs which along with that of SCs and STs brings the total reservation to 49.5%. Here is the breakup of IIM-A seats: General 182 Non creamy OBC 104 ---- Schedule caste 58 ---- Schedule tribe 29 ---- Differently-abled 12 ---- Total 385 --- I have read various comments touching upon patriotism towards India to youngsters being crazy and the need to enlighten them. Reservation for a certain group is discrimination against the other groups. So ask yourself, is our system really fair? Should we not be looking at this objectively and trying to solve the root cause of the problem instead of commenting upon the phenomenon which is a result of a messed up education system at the behest of corrupt politicians?

ILA (Chennai) replies to Guramandeep Singh 1 Day ago Dear Learned Singh. This article has nothing to do with reservation. Reservation is about affirmative action (in US parlance). Trying to give some sort of equal opportunity to people (98%) who were subjugated, denied education, and exploited by so called Forward Castes in India who constitute only 2% of the total population for millenium. This reservation is in vogue for only 60 years how can this equation be achieved in such a short span of time. Now the Forward Castes are slowly waking up and cramming for their share in the available piece of cake. If heat is felt for this itself then what should the subjugated feel for having been so for a millenium in the name of MANU SMRITIs laws? People who believe so are as you had rightly (?) pointed out are HYPROCRITS and prisoners of their own conscience.

My opinion is that if one works hard in Indian top universities, they can acquire global standards. Also all the premier institutes in US are putting their course material in the web and hence, by going thru them one can acquire high knowledge.

Apple Card Review: A (Mostly) Rewarding Way to Pay

I spent a few days hopping around New York City last week, trying to keep my wallet in my pocket. It wasn’t that I was on a tight budget. But I was testing the Apple Card, the new credit card from Apple, and according to its reward program, that’s the most lucrative way to shop.
Introduced back in March, the Apple Card is now generally available to anyone with an Apple mobile device who wants to apply.
If you use the Apple Card via the wireless, contactless Apple Pay system that is becoming increasingly popular with iPhone owners and businesses alike, you get a fairly generous return on every purchase of 2% cash back, no strings attached. That’s a bonus which lines up with the best credit cards around, from major issuers like JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America.
So when I grabbed a cup of coffee and a cookie at a cute bakery on the Upper West Side, for example, paying with the Apple Card through my iPhone earned me an almost immediate refund of 11 cents on my $5.63 purchase. (The cookie was good, too.) Later, after traipsing around on a hot summer day, I picked up a $2.87 bottle of water at CVS, also using wireless Apple Pay. Along with the hydration, I scored 6 cents cash back.
A big difference between this credit card and its competition is that unlike other rebate cards, the Apple Card’s cash reward appears almost immediately after the purchase is processed. To access these funds, you simply open the Wallet app on your iPhone, which is the home of Apple Card itself, showing your current balance, recent transactions, and other info updated in almost real time. The Wallet app also displays your “Daily Cash Balance.” These funds can be spent like a debit card on purchases using the digital Apple Pay Cash card, sent to a friend via Apple Pay, or even used to partially pay off the balance on your Apple Card.
There’s another, better benefit to using the Apple Card: Paying for purchases from Apple using the digital credit card earns 3% cash back. For example, my family’s $5 per month _New York Times_cooking app subscription now brings back 15 cents each month. And the $120 a year I pay for a family iCloud storage plan earns $3.60 in rewards. And if I decide finally to upgrade my aging MacBook Pro with the rumored 16-inch model coming later this year (please revamp the keyboard, Apple!), the cash back perk will be even more substantial—$90 on a $3,000 purchase, for example. There’s no other way to get such high rebates on purchases directly from Apple (though some cards affiliated with retailers like Target and Amazon will give 5%, if you’re buying Apple hardware sold at those outlets).

Taking a swipe at other cards

When using the Apple Card at establishments that aren’t set up for app-enabled, contactless payments, things get markedly less magical. To start, you have to pull the (admittedly cool looking white, titanium) Apple Card out of your wallet—and that can be a drag. Then, the rebates drop to just 1%, lagging competing cards.
A fair counterpoint, however, to the meager 1% cash back on physical card swipes is that Apple also forgoes fees that other cards charge. Apple Card has no annual, over-limit, late, or foreign exchange fees. And that’s great, because those can add up. For instance, imagine if I spent $1,000 over the course of a month on a competing card to get $20 cash back, instead of the $10 I’d get from swiping my Apple Card. Every other credit card I know of charges late fees—and one $35 late fee would quickly wipe out that $20 cash back reward, and then some. Foreign exchange fees can also add up quickly (though there are other credit cards, particularly those affiliated with airline rewards programs, that also forgo forex fees).
Assessing whether the Apple Card makes financial sense for you, therefore, requires making assumptions about how much you spend with Apple (including all your iTunes purchases and subscriptions), how often you’re able to use mobile payments, and how often you typically trigger the fees that Apple doesn’t charge.
For me, it certainly makes sense for all my Apple purchases and when I’m paying via mobile. But Apple also just added Uber as 3% rebate partner—a perk for its cardholders—and future partnerships like this could make the Apple Card more attractive at more businesses.
Even when you’re not rebate hunting or avoiding fees, the Apple Card feels like a futuristic, if long overdue upgrade to spending on plastic in the 21st century.
The application process, within the Wallet app on an iPhone or iPad, takes just a few minutes and, if you’re approved, the card is added as an option in Apple Pay immediately. The white, titanium physical card is optional, but came via FedEx within a few days after I requested one. Activating the card was as simple as holding it near my phone with the Wallet app open.
Every transaction quickly appears listed in the Wallet app on my iPhone, with a categorization (like “transportation” or “food and drink”) along with the rate of cash back I received (3% for spending with Apple, 2% for mobile payments, and 1% for everything else). Tap on any transaction, and Apple shows on a map exactly where you made the purchase. For some stores, like that CVS where I got the water, there’s even a deeper link, with all kinds of info about the business, like the phone number, hours of operation, and customer reviews. Apps for my other credit and bank cards aren’t nearly so nimble.
With a couple of teenagers out in the wild using our family credit card, it can be hard to identify who spent what where, with the typically meager information provided by the credit card company, so the geo-location info is fantastic. Of course, I can’t yet opt to switch the whole family to the Apple card—there’s no option yet to add additional cardholders to my account (a feature available with every other card I’m aware of).
Another potential perk: Apple has committed to not share cardholders’ spending data with marketers, a promise partner Goldman Sachs has also agreed to.
But there is a downside to that privacy policy. As a result of refusing to share data, information that goes into the Apple Card doesn’t come out. That means there’s no way to see it on the web or share it with other financial apps, like Mint or Personal Capital, that can help you budget and track spending across multiple bank and credit card accounts. There also doesn’t appear to be any way to generate an annual report, a helpful tool for tax preparation, though Apple could always add that feature later.
Another thing that could be added to the Apple Card later is discoloration, apparently. A close reading of the card’s care instructions has prompted concern that its white, titanium material may lose its luster when housed in leather wallets, or after rubbing against other cards. But after my initial week of Apple Card use—mostly through the app, which provides the best incentives—I can report that my “plastic” remains pristine.
With version 1.0 of the Apple Card, it’s a little hard to square the product with Apple CEO Tim Cook’s assertion of “the most significant change in the credit card experience in 50 years.” But for people who spend a lot with Apple, it’s a solid addition to your wallet—at least your mobile one.

Forex Trading: Merely A Gamble Or A Serious Business Venture

The generation of the 21st century is smart and makes the best of every opportunity. To make money there are also various opportunities and one of these opportunities is Forex trading. Forex trading is a topic of discussion amongst various business analysts around the globe, and many of them consider it to be a serious full-time profession. One of the most successful people in the Forex trade market is Hafizzat Rusli. Rusli started Forex trading when he was at the age of 17 and when he turned 19 he was also amongst the teenage millionaires and he did this through Forex trade itself.
After reading this many of you must be curious by now to know more about Forex trading and how it can help you too to earn big. If you know very little about Forex trade but you think you have the nack to be a smart and successful Forex trader, then this post is for you. Go through it to know everything about the forex trade.
Basics Of Forex Trading
The process of forex trading is to buy a currency and sell it back in some time to make profits. There are always 2 currencies involved in the whole process. Suppose you bought the US Dollar (USD) against the Japanese Yen (JPY) and have predicted that the value of USD will increase in some time. If we look at it like this many of you will presume that it is more like a gamble, but the full-time forex traders apply their knowledge and experience before getting involved in a trade and thus end up making huge profits. If the prediction goes right you will sell back the USD (as the value has increased) and end up making profits and in case it is the opposite there will be a loss.
If the trade is done with the right knowledge, the predictions are likely to go in your favor and thus it can be said that forex trading is a smart way of making money and thus it is also a full-time profession for many people. You can try forex trading as a full-time profession as this field has a lot of scope for growth. Currently, the currency exchange market is the biggest with a flow of $5 trillion daily. It is not just the individual forex traders that are involved in it, but even the financial institutions (almost each of them) have to participate in the foreign currency exchange. To gain success in this trading, you have to understand how does the rate of currencies fluctuate. To get a hang of that, keep reading this post.
Factors Responsible For Currency Rate Fluctuation

A. Inflation Level In A Country

If a country has a stable economy which means the rate of inflation is low, its currency will have a high value. It will be wise investing against the currency of this country. Before investing in a particular currency you should gather information about the current economic stability of its country. You should also be aware of how it is likely to be short.

B. Interest Rates In A Country

The interest rates are often manipulated by the Central banks with a target of getting more foreign investors to their country. If a country has a high rate of interest there will likely be more investors willing to invest and thus it will also lead to the higher exchange rate of the currency. As a forex trader, investing in such currency will be profitable.

C. Political Stability Of A Country

Just like the rates of interests in a country attract foreign investors, the country's political stability is also responsible for the same. Better is the political stability, greater will be the demand for the currency. Investing in the currency of this country will be more suitable for forex traders.
Apart from these factors, there are so many more factors that a successful forex trader should know. To get into the next level league of forex trading, you can even opt for a good forex trading course online. Hafizzat Rusli who is one of the champion forex traders is there to help you. He is sharing his secrets of forex trading and his purpose to do so is to let even other people earn huge profits. Click here to know more about the different course Hafizzat Rusli is offering and open your horizons towards forex trading.

Philosophy & Introduction — Inziderx
HI, in my previous article, I explained the “Reasons, Concepts and Vision” of InziderX Exchange.
In this article, I want to dive into the white paper and explain the philosophical reasons that surround the birth of the idea.
This world, our reality, the human experience we live in, has always been tied to a historical epoch, where some characteristics weigh more than others.
The 21st century battle of what remains of capitalism and communism, after two world wars. And now we are confronted with what previously would be perceived as an Orwellian reality by the people who lived in the 1950s.
It is the game of Hegel: thesis / anti — thesis / synthesis.
The human condition has involved since, but it seems that we always want more of life, a better condition for all.
The blockchain is a tool, which has no opinion on these considerations by simply avoiding the subject, jumping over it; acting as if these realities were those of yesterday.
In fact, it may be the opposite, the blockchain takes the best in each of these concepts: capitalism — the incentive, the community — compassion, and makes its own synthesis! By passing what may have been intend for it.
Satoshi Nakamoto is still anonymous, the BTC the new world currency, part of that might seem fony. There is obviously more under the subject.
An watchful eye can see Kings and Queens moving on the board.
From the InziderX white paper:

Abstract
Satoshi Nakamoto; the name itself looks like a pseudonym. As long as his identity is unknown, it will be impossible to know what his true intentions were when he made the Bitcoin code available to the public in 2009 — based on two technologies already in existence at the time: hascash and PGP but with the addition of an ingenious solution to the problem of double spending. The message included in the genesis block could be a clue: “The Times 3 January 2009 Chancellor on the second bailout point for banks”. Has he achieved his goal?
Introduction
The empire is on fire, the new game in town is the “digital assets”.
After the announcement of the future XBT, it was official. Despite the blame on this new intangible asset, the biggest players in the “old” market are silently positioning themselves on the new one.
On February 26, 2018, Bloomberg published an article claiming that Circle Financial Ltd, funded by the world’s largest investment bank, Goldman Sach, purchased the Poloniex stock exchange for $ 400 million.
The bank JPMorgan, whose famous director Jamie Dimon has repeatedly discredited those who invest in Bitcoin and called this technology a fraud, recently invented its own system of decentralized transactions named Quorum — a modified copy of the Ethereum code.
Blythe Master, a global investment personality, became CEO of Digital Asset Holding LLC in 2015, a financial technology company opened in 2014 to develop blockchain technologies for the entire investment industry, financial services such as: as market infrastructure providers. and the banks.
Ripple and his wealthy director, already present themselves as Bitcoin for banks.
For a watchful eye, the examples are not lacking and all he needs is to read between the lines to know what will follow.
After the collapse of the 2008 real estate market and the rescue of banks by the FED, the Dow Jones index has been inflated by more than 300% from its low of 6626 in 2008 to 26 667 in 2018. The Heng Seng of 200% from 10,600 to 33,642, the DAX 125% from 3458 to 7781 and Nekkei 245% from 6988 to 24171. These parabolic increases were financed by public funds but especially by the dilution of the value of world currencies, called quantitative easing.
The dollar USD, like the Denarius at the time of the Romans, dies while being diluting. In fact, all world currencies have only 5% of their purchasing power of 100 years ago, if not less. But when the price of foreign exchange does not drop dramatically because all countries are playing the same game, it is difficult to track its true purchasing power.
The currency war is very real and the side effects are disastrous. In India, the government only informed its population four hours in advance of the elimination of 500 and 1000 rupees, which represents 80% of its emission. Leaving its population, 95% of whom use paper money, in a dead end.
After inflating and diluting what might be, the money invested in the currency market and the stock market funds are looking for a new playing field; the old earth is burned, empty.
Indeed, the correction of 70% of the BTC price in January 2018 is an excellent level of long-term purchase and there is more reason to wait for a better moment to transfer the value. Was it planned?
At the beginning of 2017, the capitalization of digital assets was approximately 27 billion US dollars and 180 billion US dollars mid-year. In 2018, it is now about 800 billion US dollars and more than 325,000 transactions are processed in a day on the Bitcoin blockchain.
The daily volume on the New York Stock Exchange is about 75 million dollars in transactions, Forex exchange market volume is about 4.5 billion US dollars.
If we consider that part of the volume of traditional markets will be gradually transferred to this new market, its development is just beginning.

In the next article, I’ll cover in more detail the exchange features — we had enough philosophy for now!

I pressume you might have experienced such challenges in your previous days of trading on exchange, I bring good news to you because with the Nebula Exchange all this listed problems have been solved, kindly take time to read through my review, also visit the Nebula White and Website for more information.
INTRODUCTION
There is no gainsaying that the invention of Blockchain technology has sprout the interest of many people in crypto currency, this has created the need for more user friendly crypto exchanges where investors can trade their coin/token seamlessly. Crypto currencies exchange is the widest platform to buy and sell coins and although exchanges constantly evolve and improve, there are challenges and problems that must be critically looked into. It is against this backdrop I deem it fit to review Nebula Crypto Exchange project. Nebula exchange is a centralized exchange platform that deals on cryptocurrency exchange and tends to blend the crypto trading platform with updated news, technical analyses from various experts and review from users for a refined trading experience. We believe that users that are just coming into the trade need information beyond the price and volume of cryptocurrencies and we are set to provide them with all the necessary information required to make concrete decisions on investment on cryptocurrencies and appreciate the trade while making huge profits on their investments.
PROBLEMS OF TRADITIONAL CRYPTO EXCHANGES
Lack of liquidity is pushing volatility been the biggest problems facing cryptocurrency exchanges is an endemic lack of liquidity. The lack of liquidity, in turn, makes it hard for traders and investors to exit the market at profitable prices. When trading cryptocurrency, traders often have to up their sale and wait for the order to be filled. However, the fact that many exchanges don’t have a reserve pool means that traders must wait until there’s a willing buyer on the network before their order is filled. Hence, many traders often find themselves trapped in the market beyond the timing of their exit signal.
Transaction Delays Another common complaint of cryptocurrency trading is the delays in almost every transaction. Most platforms are slow to use, all the way from registering an account to making a sale. Most trades need to be mined for a trade to go through, which raises costs for people even higher, on top of the commissions the platforms make to stay in business. As more individuals join the blockchain, it gets slower, and exchanges are regularly stuck in the line sitting tight for endorsement. This at that point means speculators and makes the entire procedure troublesome and unrewarding for each dealer.
Exchange delays are only a portion of the various issues that Price Manipulation Another name for price control is purchase dividers and offer dividers, which are begun by a gathering of people in the crypto showcase, alluded to as whales. In crypto exchanging, price control is the main source of the unpredictability of crypto markets. New financial specialists dependably appear to be on the wrong end of this movement. Numerous unpracticed individuals won't have the capacity to peruse the indications of the purchase divider, and rather, consider it to be a positive cost. Driven by obliviousness and defective rationale, numerous will imagine that the cost will expand, so they race to purchase. Lamentably, this inevitably prompts more weight on little time financial specialists, who think that its difficult to enter the market at a particular value run. While the whales, or huge speculators, can do the control of the market without spending excessively cash. At the point when the price moves in a whale's support, the whale would then be able to move their position and move the value run once more.
Forex And Binary Another issue with digital currency exchanging is the issue of Forex and Binary choices. At the present minute, numerous Forex organizations like EToro and FXPro have recorded crypto exchanging as a possibility for their stages. These crypto postings regularly accompany a get rich speedy mindset that draws a great many unpracticed financial specialists, who at that point wind up losing the majority of their cash inside minutes. Sadly, most forex merchants neglect to comprehend that forex financiers don't take into account the open market. Rather, they go after the benefits of clueless speculators, who utilize them as counterparty. While a few merchants trust that administrations manage the Forex advertise, regularly they overlook that the controller basically tosses in a disclaimer, which adds up to simply only a couple of expressions of caution. Fake News Fake news is an extreme issue for cryptographic forms of money, as these stories can be grabbed by editors in online networking channels and dispersed to a colossal gathering of people. Regularly, these stories are not reality checked and may even contain purposeful mistakes to influence the general's sentiment about a specific kind of coin.

Hurst cycle buy

post with charts http://hurstcycles.com/bitcoin-again/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HurstCycles+%28Hurst+Cycles%29#sthash.an2xXf3s.dpbs
Bitcoin again … This entry was posted in Analysis Forex Analysis on January 19, 2018 by David Hickson. In my previous post I wrote about Bitcoin, and presented an argument for the fact that Hurst cycles are active in the price fluctuations of this new currency. I concluded that post by stating that I believed a peak of 42-month magnitude was due to occur soon. I published the post on 16 December 2017, and on 17 December – the very next day (Bitcoin trades on a Saturday and Sunday) the coin reached a high price of $19,870 and promptly turned downwards. Just over a month later the coin dropped below $10,000, having lost nearly 50% of its value.
When I wrote the post in December, I was inspired to do so by the constant media coverage of Bitcoin – to the extent that pretty much the first thing anybody asked on hearing that I had an interest in financial markets was “What do you think of Bitcoin?” I am a dyed in the wool contrarian, and my first reaction when an investment instrument is making headlines, and everybody is wanting to “get on board for the ride”, is to expect a peak to form and the price to fall. The Hurst cycles analysis indicated that indeed a peak was due, supporting the contrarian view. As an aside here: I was asked in December to provide advice to someone who was very keen to buy Bitcoin. I realized the extent of the bullish fever when my advice not to buy because I believed the value was about to fall was greeted with disappointment, and a response of “Are you sure? Isn’t it possible that you got it wrong?” Bitcoin was clearly inspiring some of the feverish “madness” that inspired bubbles such as the Tulip craze in the 1600’s.
A month later I find myself inspired again to write a post about Bitcoin … again because of the media coverage and hype around this investment. However now media coverage is mostly on the other side, as demonstrated by this headline:
Not so bullish ...
There are many people crying “I told you so” because of the dramatic drop in value of Bitcoin, and claiming that Bitcoin’s future as a currency is over. However I am not one of them… As a contrarian, when the media starts ringing the death bells, I take an interest again. And of course my interest leads me to turn to the cycles to ask what is happening.
Is Bitcoin going to turn into a 21st-century example of the Tulip craze? I cannot provide a definitive answer to that question, however I believe we are at a critical juncture. If Bitcoin is able to settle into the natural rhythm of a currency, and start exhibiting clean “normal” Hurst cycles, then I believe the answer to that question is no, and Bitcoin will earn itself a place as a regular (if particularly volatile) currency. If Bitcoin fails to settle into a regular Hurst cycles pattern, then indeed we might look back on it as an example of how the madness of crowds continues into the 21st century.
I am inclined to give Bitcoin the benefit of the doubt, because it has recently been exhibiting good clean cycle structure as shown in this chart below. As discussed in my previous post, I believe that it is exhibiting the characteristics of an instrument that has synchronized peaks, which makes the peaks much more easy to identify than the troughs. In the chart below note how the circles and whiskers to the right hand side of the chart (in the area of the future, where there is no price data), are much clearer at the top of the chart (where the peaks are projected), then they are at the foot of the chart (where the troughs are projected).
A peak has formed
Nevertheless there is a discernible rhythm in the troughs, even if the variation in wavelength is a bit wider than it is for the peaks. The reason why I say that Bitcoin is now at a critical juncture, is that we are expecting a 20-week trough to form. If a good clear trough does form at this point then we would expect the value of the coin to bounce up from that 20-week low, and its response to the Hurst cycle influence would encourage me to believe that Bitcoin is finding its feet as a new currency, moved by the same cycles that move all other currencies. (As a matter of interest the question marks at the foot of the chart beneath Wednesday’s trading bar indicate that it is possible that 20 week trough formed on Wednesday).
Another very encouraging feature of the recent price action is that it has fulfilled a perfect “zigzag” move for the 20-week cycle from the peak on 17th December to the potential trough on Wednesday 17 January. This chart shows how Sentient Trader’s zigzag feature plots that zigzag downward move, and because of the perfection of that move, is already assuming that the move is complete and that the next move to expect is an upwards bounce out of the 20 week cycle trough.
20-week zig-zag
Optimists amongst you will notice that the projection for the 20-week zigzag move up takes us off the chart to new high prices. I should caution you to take that projection with a pinch of salt, because it is based on recent moves out of the 20-week cycle trough, which have of course all been extraordinarily bullish. The zigzag tool considers each cycle in isolation, and does not consider the effect of that large and ominous peak in the middle of December. If that is indeed a peak of the 42-month cycle, then the bounce out of the 20-week cycle at this stage will not be nearly as impressive. To temper our enthusiasm for this bounce it is worth pointing out that this bounce is going to provide the correction for the 40-week cycle zigzag downwards from the peak in December to a trough expected in late March or early April, as shown in this chart:
40-week zig-zag
The dashed line there shows the downward movement of the 40 week cycle, and the dotted upwards pointing line is the bounce that the 20 week cycle trough should give us on the way down to the 40 week cycle low.
Considering the combination of all these different cycles is what makes understanding a Hurst cycles analysis such a fascinating and complex process. Another tool which gives us a way of visualizing the implications of an analysis is the Composite Model Line, a relatively new feature in Sentient Trader which simply takes the cycle information derived from the analysis on the chart and “puts it back together” if you like, thereby composing a purely cyclic price action, in other words a hypothetical price action created by the combination of the cycles that have been identified in the market. This line is then projected forwards, on the basis that the cycles will keep beating with the same wavelength and amplitude (in fact the line assumes that the wavelength and amplitude of each cycle will return to average values if they are currently extended). This line should not be used as an absolute forecasting tool because we know that cycles are dynamic, and are constantly varying in their wavelength and amplitude, but it is nevertheless a useful tool to give us an idea of what to expect on the basis of the analysis on the chart. Here is the Composite Model Line for this analysis:
Composite Model Line
You can see that the CML is indicating that the market is expected to turn up now, as it forms the 20-week cycle trough. It is expected to move up into early February where an 80-day cycle peak is expected to form. It will then move down again, into the middle of February before turning back up again to form the 20-week cycle peak expected sometime in April. What has happened to that move down that we saw in the zigzag for the 40 week cycle? This is where the CML is so useful. The fact that we can hardly see any evidence of price coming down into that 40-week cycle trough indicates that the combination of the many cycles that influence the price action is likely to reduce the impact of that 40-week cycle move downwards. In simple terms we could explain this as the bullish impetus of the move up into the 20-week cycle peak cancelling out the bearish impetus of the move down into the 40-week cycle trough.
But looking ahead a few months and debating which cycle will prove more dominant at that point is an uncertain business at best. The important point that I wish to make here is that a 20-week cycle trough is expected to form. If the value of Bitcoin increases at this point and shows that it is responding to that 20-week cycle, then our confidence in the fact that Bitcoin is settling into the natural rhythm of the cycles will increase. What happens after that remains shrouded in some uncertainty, but as time passes and our confidence in the cycles moving Bitcoin either increases or decreases, we will be in a better position to resolve that uncertainty.
About David Hickson I have been trading for over 20 years, but only had any success after discovering Hurst's cyclic principles. Unable to find any software to speed up the analysis process I created Sentient Trader software, which now pretty much does all the analysis for me. I am a film maker and a TV director, but nowadays I mostly provide consultation services to professional traders and fund managers, helping them to integrate Hurst analysis into their trading. I'm South African and live with my family in Italy.

Livestock on the Blockchain

Banks are conservative and on the surface, they are portraying they hate cryptocurrency! Just look at the famous comment by Jamie Dimon who first says that he is going to fire any employee who buys Bitcoin but suddenly has an attack of conscience and now "regrets calling Bitcoin a Fraud". Of course, the firm he helms, JP Morgan Chase, was caught with its pants down buying Bitcoin as Mr. Dimon sent it plunging from US$5000 to US$3,000!! Brilliant move.
So it should come as no surprise if we find mainstream banks clandestinely supporting Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies. But what I do find surprising is that there is one initiative support by our Maybank, the Malaysian Banking Giant! Now that is super cool, but what really makes it surprising is this initiative is for the UNBANKED, the segment of the population (the bottom 40% or B40 as our Government refers to them perhaps) that does not have a bank account or is simply not profitable as customers
And the initiative is with Sentinel Chain which now aims to unlock the value of the "hidden assets" which most farmers have, which is LIVESTOCK. Have you ever been to a kampung in the heartland? These are good working folks but they often lack the capital to expand their business. Now, if we could collateralise their assets (here it's livestock, or to put it in Crypto terms the Tokenisation of Livestock) then it would provide them with sufficient capital for expansion or for times when money is needed (imagine that it's the start of the school year but the livestock they have is still not in a position to be "monetised" - borrowing against your assets. This will ultimately bring various financial services to the unbanked such as banking, credit facilities, insurance and even crowdfunding. In short, it uses the spirit of Blockchain to attack a niche area in Agriculture (livestock) and attempts to liberate the farmers from the yolk of Poverty.
And considering that the rural folks form the backbone of the voter base of Malaysia (do you that FELDA alone can sway 50 Parliament seats?) this could be a strategic project in collaboration with the Government of ASEAN countries which have a high percentage agrarian base. And bringing these facilities together with ASEAN giant Maybank is a stroke of genius IMHO. Hello, CIMB, are you around to hear this?
Among the Services that Sentinel Chain will provide are listed below, which now looks like a menu from a financial services Supermart. Have you ever heard of crowdfunding services offered by a Bank?
Well, this seems to all fine and dandy and brings us to a farmer utopia world but how are we to identify the livestock (which have legs and wings by the way) which belong to a particular farmer? It uses an innovative Identification tag for Livestock.
In short, the core components are of this entire ecosystem which also features a Private Blockchain are:
Livestock RFID Tag - a tamper proof RFID tag attached to the livestock which provides immutability of ownership (asset tracking). Geolocation and timestamp information is affixed.
Cross Pay Mobile App (A mobile walled based on Android-Good move, since I doubt farmers have Apple iPhones!!) - A cryptocurrency token called SENC which is also attached to an LCT (Local Cross Pay Token) denominated in the users local native currency (there will be an LCT Ringgit for Malaysia, Baht for Thailand and Pesos for the Philippines are some examples). This avoids the issue of Forex conversion rates and makes usage and business transactions seamless across borders. Cross pay will operate across many countries.
B2B Marketplace - This puts all the components together as a Private blockchain so users can access financial services from providers all over ASEAN. There will be multiple Cross Pay blockchain in different countries
Ok, so now I understand. Could Maybank be secretly backing up all these ICOs and emerge as the Blockchain champion of ASEAN in the future? Leaving rivals such as CIMB in the dust as it moves aggressively into an untapped market? This is such a great ICO opportunity that I am surprised that the ruling coalition (Barisan Nasional) has figured out an idea like this. Releasing the rural folks and bringing them financial facilities of the 21st Century through Blockchain.
This is definitely an investable project in my opinion as it will break existing glass walls to the problems of the unbanked in many ASEAN countries. So there, now even farmers can go to the MOON with Sentinel Chain!!
NOW EVEN "DEAD CAPITAL" CAN BE FUNGIBLE ASSETS.
This is a classic example that blockchain is capable of addressing real-world issues and I would certainly love to see more projects similar to Sentinel Chain in the near future. Meanwhile, you can Google them up for more information. They have an active Telegram community: t.me/sentinelchain and you can find further details on their announcement channel: t.me/sentinel_ANN

VERIZON OVERPAYS NFL RIGHTS?
In an unprecedented deal with the NFL, Verizon (VZ) has sealed an agreement to live-stream all in-market and national games on Yahoo Sports and AOL. It will pay $2.25B for the five-year period. Verizon has also awarded Ericsson a contract to provide networking equipment for its commercial 5G launch. Is the deal too much for one of the most valued franchise of the World?
DISNEY - THE ONLY SUITOR
Comcast has abandoned its bid for most of the assets of 21st Century Fox, leaving Walt Disney (DIS) as the only suitor in pursuit of the over $40 billion deal. "When a set of assets like Fox's becomes available, it's our responsibility to evaluate if there is a strategic fit," Comcast declared, but said it "never got the level of engagement needed to make a definitive offer." But at least the gossip pushed its share price higher.
FOMC BREAKFAST
The FOMC has gathered yesterday for its last policy meeting of 2017, which expectedly could result in interest rates getting pumped up by a quarter (.25%) on Wednesday. The real question is for the markets, what the FED says and does with regard to tax legislation. While many expect the central bank to retain its rate hike for this year, also have to see its forecast for next year, when another trio is on the horizon. Based on the improving economy and ongoing tax cuts, it could even become a quartett.

FX WORLD
This is going to be a very important day for the forex market, the FED’s announcement is coming. The last FOMC meeting of the year didn’t move the market. As we see, you should wait and see where your pair will be taken, and follow the trend. The EURUSD moved around, showing volatility, but even Draghi’s speech couldn’t move the pair significantly. It stuck between 1.18 and 1.17. There is not much to do till the FED’s announcement, but then you must follow the trend it will break out to. The GBPUSD formed a shooting star, trying to break above 1.3333 with no success. It looks like the pair could drop down to 1.32, or even to 1.31. On the top side, 1.35 is the target. The USDJPY moved sideways on Tuesday, doing almost nothing. If it pulls back, 112 is the floor where it should find buyers, otherwise we are heading to 114.5. In that case, it is a buy and hold trade. Wait and see FED’s attitude and trade accordingly.
